Responsibilities:
- Co-lead a preschool classroom by planning and implementing age-appropriate curriculum and daily lesson plans
- Foster a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment for young children
- Support children's social-emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play-based learning
- Collaborate with co-teacher to maintain consistent classroom routines and behavior management strategies
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and milestones
- Observe, document, and assess child development and maintain accurate student records
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and engaging classroom space
Requirements:
- Hish School diploma/Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred
- Prior experience working with preschool-aged children in a classroom or childcare setting
- Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) and early childhood development
- Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for early childhood education
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
