About the Role:
Upper Providence Academy is looking for a warm, nurturing Infant Room Teacher to join our dedicated team in Oaks, PA! Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for infants in a licensed childcare setting
- Implement age-appropriate activities that support cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
- Maintain consistent daily routines including feeding, diapering, and nap schedules
- Communicate regularly and openly with parents and guardians regarding their child's daily progress
- Observe and document infant milestones and developmental progress
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment in compliance with health and safety standards
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support a positive early learning community
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework in Early Childhood Education (ECE) preferred
- Prior experience working with infants in a childcare or early learning setting
- Knowledge of infant development; and PA childcare regulations
- Current CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain
- Patient, compassionate, and dependable with a genuine love for working with infants
- Strong communication skills and ability to build trust with families
