Wayne Early Learning Center is looking for a passionate and nurturing Pre-K Teacher to join our dedicated team in Wayne, PA! Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment for Pre-K students
- Monitor and assess student development, documenting progress and milestones
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student growth and classroom activities
- Incorporate play-based learning, social-emotional development, and school readiness skills into daily instruction
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, aides, and administrative staff to support whole-child development
- Maintain a clean, organized, and developmentally appropriate classroom setting
Requirements:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred
- Prior experience working with Pre-K or early childhood age groups
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices
- Pennsylvania teaching certification or Child Development Associate (CDA) credential a plus
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Patient, warm, and nurturing demeanor with a genuine passion for working with young children
